KNOW-ACT: My Voice, My Right
Under this, we challenge persons with disabilities to raise their voice.
In pastoralist regions with decades of neglect and marginalisation, voice is a powerful tool of realization of persons with disabilities’ rights. We educate persons with disabilities on their rights, why they need to participate in governance and indeed, whey their voice matter. We anchor our interventions to the Constitution of Kenya 2010, Persons With Disabilities Act 2003, Universal Declaration of Human Rights, among other instruments.
